Discover yourself through your Sensation the primary way of knowing.
Your breath impacts your state of mind, your overall sense of ease, strength, confidence and well-being. It also is a source of information about yourself. Breathing is impacted by spine health, postural habits, stress, and even by what we have been told is the “right” way to breathe.
Learn the functional anatomy of breathing, about the structures involved, and sense and experience these for yourself through guided movement practices. We’ll unwind or clarify dysfunctional habits, and create opportunities for our nervous systems to find a more functional way. Rethink the myth of a “right-way” to breathe, and discover greater capacity for breath and easy posture.
What you’ll need: Yoga mat or Blanket Hand towel Paper and writing implement
You will find your own deep insights through this facilitated journey through lecture, discussion, Feldenkrais Awareness through Movement® lessons (think playful, slow, exploratory floor work), and an opportunity for learning that will influence how you breathe through life. Classes will be audio recorded so that you can return to the movements to continue the learning.

Self-Study
Svadyaya is the yogic principle for living that teaches self-study. Discover yourself through your body, the primary way of knowing. Work with our root chakra, the source of our foundation of movement and interaction, physically, but on all levels.
Movement is life. Life is a process. Improve the quality of the process and you improve the quality of life itself.
