Discover yourself through your Sensation the primary way of knowing.
When well organized, we are able to balance the head beautifully over our spine as we walk, able to effortlessly and painlessly orient our eyes, mouth, and attention. Of course, with the advent of computers and forward head posture, many of us experience difficulty in the neck and thoracic spine as well. Headaches and even eyestrain can be related to the function of the cervical spine.
Learn (or review) the structural and functional anatomy of your cervical spine, the related structures that often impact the neck. In these Feldenkrais-based movement sessions, we’ll work with eyes, tongue, spine, and even down to the toes to unwind some of the habits that create unhelpful tension in the neck.
This movement-centered class will help you find an effortless standing posture, ease in your neck, ribs, and possibly also your jaw, eyes, and shoulders.
What to Bring: Yoga mat / blanket Note pad/pen if you would like
You will find your own deep insights through this facilitated journey through lecture, discussion, Awareness through Movement® lessons (think playful, slow, exploratory floor work), and an opportunity for learning that you can revisit through the audio recording.

Self-Study
Svadyaya is the yogic principle for living that teaches self-study. Discover yourself through your body, the primary way of knowing.
Movement is life. Life is a process. Improve the quality of the process and you improve the quality of life itself.
